Interesting research

SOLIDAR, the European network of NGOs working to advance social justice in Europe and worldwide, is running a project ‘Making Industrial Relations work for Decent Work’. The project period is July 2011 - April 2012. The project aims to combat precarious employment and realise decent working conditions and quality jobs for all. More information: www.SOLIDAR.org

A team of researchers of 5 EU countries has produced in 2008 a series of country reports on Low-wage work in cooperation with the US Russell Sage Foundation. See: summaries.

The French organisation 'Association pour la recherche sur la ville et l'habitat' produced an interesting comparison of architecture and professional practices in Europe. So far 12 countries are included. You can find the information on www.archi-europa.org
