Euroccupations organised an international expert conference, 21 and 22 May 2008, Marseille. Experts and representatives from different European countries discussed the comparability of professions in a series of expertsessions. Construction was included. A report is coming.

  Two seminars are coming up at Westminster University. One about vocational training on November 27th, see CLR-News 3-2008 for the announcement. The second is a bilateral (Dutch-UK) meeting on Employment practices on December 10th, see invitation.

  The book "Shifting employment" based on a CLR-study on undeclared labour was presented to the Finnish EU-presidency on 14, 15 December 2006 in Helsinki. Seminars

 
  Westminster University organised a workshop on labour migration on 7-12-2007 (in cooperation with Northumbria University and CLR). For contributions see CLR-News 4-2007.
  The Building Workers International (BWI) organised a global Cement Conference on 22,23-06-2007 in Portugal, in cooperation with EFBWW and ICEM. For a report see CLR-News 2-2007.
 

CLR participated in a ETUI-REHS seminar on 'Self-employment and bogus self-employment in the construction sector', 7-9 June 2007 in Vilnius. See the report.

Annual meeting

 
  CLR's annual meeting 2009 will take place in Brussels, 2nd April 2009 (with a visit to the European Parliament). The 2008 report is published in CLR-News 1-2008. Reports of earlier meetings are integrated in CLR-News, under publications.
